Summer Event 2009

The calfordseaden summer event is one of the annual highlights for our staff.  Although a toned down occasion this year, it was once again thoroughly enjoyed and much appreciated by everyone. 

This time we chose to hold a hog roast evening at the White Rock Inn at Underriver, Sevenoaks, an old traditional pub surrounded by beautiful countryside.

This year we extended our event to spouses and children of our staff so entertainment was provided in the garden to suit all ages, including bouncy castle, giant scalextric, face painting and magician, followed by a disco later in the evening.

Each summer all members of staff are invited to a day out, with activities during the day followed by an evening meal with live music and dancing. In previous years, we have explored the delights that London, Paris and Bruge have to offer, sailed to the Isle of Wight and taken part in various multi activity days.

Summer Event 2008

The Partners treated everyone to a day of activities in London and an evening meal. Based around St. Katherine’s Dock, the day started with breakfast at Dicken’s Inn followed by a number of different activities throughout the day. Everyone enjoyed a guided tour of the Tower of London, took part in a treasure hunt around the dock and surrounding area and experienced a fantastic ride on a RIB (Rigid Inflatable Boat) on the Thames. In the evening, we indulged in a pleasant Spanish meal followed by a live band and dancing.
