Employer’s Agent

For clients who commission the construction of new buildings, design & build contracts are becoming increasingly popular. Such contracts are therefore administered by an Employer's Agent, in which calfordseaden has over 25-years’ worth of experience.

Our Employer's Agents position design & build contracts in a methodical way to engender good team working throughout the firm.  This involves the production of specific employer's requirements and the creation of clear and concise contractual obligations.

Maintaining good quality is often perceived to be a weakness of design & build contracts. However, we fully recognise the role of principal designers and ensure they remain fully  involved in the post-contract phase of a project.

Our experience in design & build ensures we are ideally placed to assist clients with training; the production of standard design and build documentation; and keeping them up-to-date with ever-changing statutory and funding requirements.
