Our experts undertake the necessary to establish whether a Right to Light exists and carry out measured surveys and an analysis of the effect to a Right to Light and levels of Sunlight and Daylight. They can also advise on possible cause of action, scale of development, changes to development proposals, possible levels of compensation etcetera.

The Practice has been succesful in securing and delivering a number of Planned Maintenance Surveys on Property Portfolios for Public and Private Sector Clients alike and have developed bespoke software tailored to Client's particular requirements to enable data to be captured and interpreted in an agreed format.

Specialist Chartered Surveyors have been providing advice in connection with Party Wall Matters across all calfordseaden’s offices for many years, both under the Party Wall etc Act 1996 and, historically, in relation to the London Building Acts.

The commercial building surveying expertise within the Practice stems from 1993 when Geoff Clark and Terry Bartholomew joined the firm to develop and expand the services offered by the Practice. Today, we offer the full range of services from our four UK offices.

Our surveying teams provide a comprehensive project and development monitoring service to Clients including banks and other financial institutions and for Tenants who will occupy a building on completion but who are not a contractual party to its construction or refurbishment.

We have been successful over the last few years in developing a substantial track record in the procurement and management of both routine and complex fit outs and space alterations for a number of Tenants within the office sector.
