older people's housing

Milton Village, Portsmouth
Portsmouth is currently undergoing massive regeneration and benefiting from multi-million pound investments that are bringing about real changes to the area as a whole.
On behalf of Housing 21, calfordseaden’s architects have designed a new village style development for older people which has recently been granted permission. As well as being the first in Portsmouth, the Milton Village scheme is the only one of its kind in the South East of England to be supported by the Department of Health.
Currently under construction, this project was hailed by the Planning Committee for its ‘adventurous and attractive design’ and its gateway location will ensure that it becomes a prominent landmark on the route into the City of Portsmouth.
