Better Homes Active Lives - Kent PFI

The Better Homes Active Lives Private Finance Initiative has delivered circa 350 apartments for vulnerable adults, including the elderly and people with learning difficulties or mental health problems. More information here

Pembury Road, Eastbourne

Pembury Road is a £10 million extra care housing scheme based in Eastbourne which has delivered 62 one and two bedroom extra care apartments. More information here

Briar Croft, Stratford Upon Avon

Briar Croft is a specialist extra care retirement scheme for the over 55's developed by Orbit Heart of England. Located in the heart of historic Stratford-upon-Avon, the scheme provides a total of 36, one and two bedroom apartments and a range of communal facilities. More information here

Milton Village, Portsmouth

calfordseaden were appointed by Housing 21 to develop a village concept for the provision of new and replacement extra-care housing in the Milton area of Portsmouth. The development provides three new buildings to provide 65 apartments, together with a 16 bed dementia unit. More information here

Oldham Sheltered Housing PFI, Oldham

This scheme is part of calfordseaden's long standing association with the Oldham Sheltered Housing PFI contract. Overall this is the largest PFI funded sheltered housing project in the country and involves 1610 sheltered and warden supported properties. More information here

Linton Mead, Thamesmead

This completed scheme provides 58 one and two bedroomextra-care apartments with specifically fitted out wheelchair units, designed together with a day care and support facilities. More information here

Hogshill House, Crawley

A new extra care housing scheme providing six, one-bed and 33 two-bed apartments set within a woodland setting in Crawley, West Sussex. The successfully completed development provides older people with the care and support they require. More information here

Brownhills, Walsall

Brownhills, Walsall is a 60-unit extra care scheme with associated facilities and is one of six schemes that makes up the Walsall PPP initiative for the re-provision of residential and day care facilities for older people together with a specialist unit of residential dementia care.
