The Chartered Institute of Housing's annual charity golf day took place recently at Westerham Golf Club. 

The day, organised by calfordseaden, is held in aid of the CIH Chair's chosen charity, this year being Bob Keats who is raising funds for the SAHF (South African Housing Foundation Development Trust).  The Trust will embark on a special pilot project in Kraaifontein, providing extra lessons for Grade 12 learners so that they will qualify for bursaries to go to University. 

It was good to see the familiar faces and several newcomers at this all day event which consists of an 18 hole tournament attended by leading figures from the housing and construction industry, followed by a three course meal, auction and raffle.

The proceeds from this popular event raised nearly £8,000, due to the generosity of those taking part and kind offers of sponsorship.
