Gas Inspection Engineer

Requirements are:-

  • An experienced and ACS qualified domestic gas inspection engineer.
  • Ability to carry out inspection services and prepare reports for domestic gas service contracts and central heating/boiler replacement programmes.

 

Duties include:-

  • Representing the Practice at meetings with Clients and Contractors.
  • Carrying out inspections of gas appliances and preparing reports on need for replacement, repair or defects.
  • Carrying out quality audits and pre/post inspection services for works associated with gas service contracts and central heating/boiler replacement programmes.

 

Specific Administrative Duties:-

  • In conjunction with support staff, arrange schedules and appointments for audits and pre/post inspections.
  • Signing their own general correspondence
  • Updating their progress reports monthly, or upon request, and handing to Administration for entering into database.
  • Preparing and checking progress reports for projects and commissions, for issue to Clients

 

General:-

 

All applicants will be tested before interview and any interview will be dependent on the outcome of those tests.

 

Hours:               9.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday.

Holidays:           Between 24 and 30 days depending upon years of service.

Training and Development:-

 

The Practice is keen to assist individuals in developing any work related professional interests. The Practice takes training seriously, providing practical and financial assistance to all personnel.
