This Private Finance Initiative (PFI) is the biggest sheltered housing deal of its kind in the country and in total is worth £435 million over 30 years. This initiative will see the refurbishment and rebuilding of around 1,500 sheltered and warden supported homes comprising 854 bungalows, 483, one bedroom flats and 120, two bedroom flats.
