Following the success of last year’s charity golf day, calfordseaden were pleased to organise this year's charity golf day on behalf of the Chartered Institute of Housing’s South East Region.

Once more the tournament  was held at the picturesque Westerham Golf Club on 8th September 2009, and again we were blessed with splendid weather.  This is an all day event, ending with a superb dinner overlooking the course which is in the heart of the Kent Weald.

The new Chair of the South East region, Claire Martin, chose to support a community development project in the highlands of Northern Ethiopia which she visited in December 2007.  All who took part in the day contributed to this charity through advertising, hole sponsorship, auction prizes and a raffle.  This year's event raised an amazing £9,410!
