Chartered Institute of Housing South East Practitioners Conference - 1^st and 2^nd July sponsored by calfordseaden

This conference will take place at the Felbridge Hotel, East Grinstead, Susssex on 1^st and 2^nd July, 2010 and offers support and training to housing professionals focusing on practical issues within housing management.

Alistair Mcintosh, Chief Executive of the Housing Quality Network will give the opening keynote on performance management and key service issues for housing services and on Friday morning, the keynote speaker will be Abigail Davies, CIH Head of Policy, who will discuss the key policy issues facing housing, the shape of the government's agenda and investment priorities for housing over the next twelve months.

Through a number of interactive workshops, we will provide a legal update, an update on short notice inspections and a workshop on equalities impact assessments.

Hays Social Housing will be running a career development workshop on how to write a successful CV, interview hints and how to handle assessments.  A Master Class on rent collection, financial inclusion and housing benefit reform will take place on the second day of the conference.
