14/16 Bruton Place, Mayfair

This scheme was exceedingly complex involving demolition of an old nightclub and construction of a new building above the subterranean River Tyburn.

The site is confined, surrounded by adjoining properties on three sides including fine art galleries and exclusive retail outlets in New Bond Street. The contractor was obliged to maintain means of escape through the site serving adjoining buildings throughout the contract period.

The development is designed to contribute to the overall streetscape of this conservation area in Mayfair, London and to provide modern open plan raised access floor space including full air conditioning and a new passenger lift.
